Does anyone know anything about this college? I’m from the US and really wanted to do BDS in islamabad, but i didn’t get into NUST (Army Medical) cause of this problem with teh SAT II…anyways, how “good” of a college is Margalla? And what about RMC? i already looked on their websites, but any other info would be great!

do a search on this forum for threds on pak medical college..to be brief I would advise u check the colleges PMDC regisstration otherwise u won't be able to sit for ur USMLE

I'm from toronto, canada...and i wnated to go to pakistan to study medicine..a hell of a lot faster...i had no idea the difference between a govt college and a private one..i just told my father in law that i wanted to study in pak..and he took care of everything else..in fact i was quite surprised that I got accepted in to Margalla that quickly.....
anyways, i was there for a year and a half...and during that time it was chaotic...there was no scheduale for anythign..exams...vivas..etc..everything just happened when the time came for it...also there were rumours going aroudn that the college was goign to close and not be approved by the PMDC....and the owner of the building did not liek the Dean of the colelge..blah blah blah...even the hostels....i was in one of them....there was supposedly a jin in my hostel...i had no experience with this jin...but alledgely all the other chicks in my hostel did...the profs..there were a couple of nice ones..but they left...and they told us to leave the college asap too...it totall sucked!!!
to mamke the long story short...i ended up leaving the college and went back to tonroto..now im happy as a chemist!!! no more dr dreams for me....
