Is there a "trend" in bridal makeup now? Im talking abt eyeshadow color.
I remember pictures from the 80 and 90s where htey did 3 different color eyeshadows, no blending. Looked kinda funky :D
Last time I went to a wedding in Pak (2005), they match the color of the dress, so if it's bright fuschia, the eye makeup will be bright fuschia as well.
For my wedding day I wore bright pink and she used a sheer pink color. Same for valima except golden/maroon. I.e., not exactly "matching" the color, but complementing it.

CAn u tell me something abt MArian khawaja??? is she good with barat makeup...like red???
This is a very old post but just wanted to share my experience with Mighty. I wud say it was EXCELLENT! I think i took the right decision to go for Mighty on 1st day(barat). She is definitely awesome for REDs. I hate the fact that other parlours (including Madeeha and Ather Shahzad) use bright red lipsticks on barat day. It looks scary and makes the bride look old. I had personally seen only one bride in my friend's circle getting ready from Mighty but i couldn't take my eyes off her. She was looking so pretty. Although Madeehas and Alle Nora were and still a rage in Lahore. Everybody just tend to go with what is popular. I took a huge risk with Mighty but everyone really appreciated the look. I have a medium complexion, wat i really liked about Mighty was she gave me a natural finish ( i had acne) she covered it amazingly and still managed to look so natural. She also kept my skin tone intact. I was looking ME. Her contouring was awesome as well. I was displeased with the contouring of Madeeha for my waleema day. She didnt accentuate my features with her makeup. I was looking good on waleema as well but my pictures came out really WHITE and in actual i was looking very DARK. The foundation tone they used was ridiculous and at the end after caking me up with lots of foundation, they werent even able to hide my acne properly. Sure it doesnt show in the pictures but anyone who sat close to me on stage said that my acne was quite visible. It was embarassing.
All in all, i'd recommend 1st day makeup from Mighty to everyone who appreciates real makeup.
still i'd say Madeeha is good for engagements / waleemas (light colors) as my pictures does look quite good although i didnt like the makeup in real.
