Offcourse Bush would nominate someone who is conservative, someone that can satisfy the Republican need and no wonder 'White Americans' will be happy with it. What they got to loose? This court represents Bush adminstrations and its agenda more than America, you know that better than me. So, tell me should we be scared or not? I just hope he is fair and if you know anything from this administration and its members is that all hopes go in vain.

Guess what, in the U.S. you don’t own your wife nor do you own her body. Abortion is a legal medical procedure and there is no reason she should have to legally inform you if she get’s an abortion or not.

Kaleem, maybe in your perfect world every marriage is full of happiness, trust and understanding, but there are men out there who abuse, intimidate and control their wives. For these women, it is not so clear cut for them to go to their loving husband and get his consent.

Seminole, how about having the decency to let him know that she is going to abort the baby.....look I am not saying that she cannot do it, I am only saying that do not make it an issue of "her body" crap. Trust is the most important element in a marriage, if my wife were to have an abortion and not tell me, she better hope that I never find out...because I will not be able to forgive her.......however, if she involves me in the decision it is a different matter. I may not agree with her, but I know that I cannot force her (in this country) to not have an abortion.

Once again you are speaking as if every man is as caring, loving, involved and responsible as you are. Sure, ‘trust’ is the most important element in a marriage - but that doesn’t mean it exists in every marriage. Everything is not as black and white as you are making it.
