Saw him in action today against portsmouth, and oh my goodness, hes amazing. My bro just told me Newcastle were meant to sign him but they lost out last minute or something?..Damn the bloody magpies, i could have stalked him!

He was (not) playing for Roma as he was on bench most of the time. Now on loan to Spurs. He is 22. Enough? :p

Well Miss M, if you are looking for an older ‘muslim’ Spurs player then you can choose between Nouridene Naybet or Freddi Kanoute .. I don’t know if they are married but certainly older than young Mido.
Strange that for a club with strong Jewish links, Spurs has the highest contingent of Muslim players in the EPL!

Mido and Zlatan Ibrahimovic used to play together for Ajax. Since Zlatan would always be in the starting eleven and Mido on the bench they had a fierce rivalry (they were both of the same age as well). I remember this instance when Mido couldn't stand he was left on the bench and during halftime he threw scissors to Zlatan cuz of some quarrel.
This led to his departure to Marseille...and after that Roma
