I'm middle class and I'm proud of it. I wasn't born entitled, but I want to be something and I'm working towards it.
Upper Class snobs were born with it all and if that wasn't enough they stole taxes and took kickbacks to make some more. So who's the real scum?

Mera ek friend tha usse apne upper class hone ka yaqin tha:D....and he had crush on a girl so....
he was confident that the girl will fall for him..as he was from upper class and girl was from middle class.....
he used to say.....bhai wo ek middle class larki hai agar usse mujh jaisa paisewala...............:D

I carry bus ticket with me for two to three days after travelling in bus......after watching movie Vishwanath of shatrughan sinha...as he proves his innocence with the help of bus ticket.....
Reminds me of my maternal grandmother. She would tell us stories with no ending! And Ee would ask ( In Tamil of course) Phir kya huwa? And she would say - story over.

I think this is a two way traffic. I have seen middle class (higher class wannabees) who dont have money in their pockets but all their friends are higher class and they dress and eat like them. And then I have seen some middle class families who dont feel comfortable in the presence of higher class. As far as middle class is concerned, most of the people in Pakistan are middle class (Higher middle class, lower middle class, and those who fall below these categories). For me classes dont matter, most important is that one can survive and raise a family in a good way...thats it!!
I have seen the mentality of some people change as their situation changes from middle class to higher class too.
