Microsoft's Surface

Re: Microsoft’s Surface

i hope surface will get the ipad’s prices into my range

Re: Microsoft’s Surface

No it won’t.

Apple prices are never influenced by competition. So sit there araam se.

Re: Microsoft's Surface

Got a chance to try out the Microsoft Surface RT tablet yesterday.

  • very light weight, looks nice
  • magnetic hinges to attach the keyboard
  • nice non slip back
  • pull-out kickstand but it locks into only one position
  • excellent screen resolution
  • Windows tiles didn't seem very ruthless, easy to switch to normal mode from the tiles mode
  • Has a USB port
  • I think the screen will be good for viewing media and gaming but not for e-book reading or surfing the web due to its tall portrait type of shape. Wasn't too impressed with the browsing experience

Personally, I think it's a bit overpriced. I wouldn't pay $600 for the 32GB tablet + cover/keyboard.

Re: Microsoft's Surface

Its a very well designed tablet, I must say.

Re: Microsoft’s Surface

Tried Ipad mini yesterday, I am very impressed. Probably the best tablet in that size.

Re: Microsoft's Surface

i thought tabs were not suppose to have key board like this....

Re: Microsoft's Surface

Its not a keyboard. its a cover which has working keyboard etched inside. Plus its detachable.

Re: Microsoft's Surface

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...now that is pretty handy!

Re: Microsoft’s Surface

Dheeraj rakho, baalikay!

Re: Microsoft’s Surface

That is why OP is doing 30 pushups.

Re: Microsoft's Surface

Give me a surface pro and I might be tempted even with windows 8. Steve Balmer should have been fired by now for he has done nothing big for the company. With all the tablified OS mess, there is already malware for Windows 8 because it is pretty much built on the same runtime.

Granted that I am using a Mac right now to type this message, but I am also a big fan of Windows 7 and always tear a huge one for apple trolls who think OS X >>>>>>>>> Windows 7 and that you have to pay for AV in windows while apple is immune from all malware.

Re: Microsoft's Surface

^ confused. So do you like win 8 and 7?

Re: Microsoft's Surface

he does not like Win 8 - he is saying if Surface Pro comes out he would like to try it in spite of the fact that it has win 8
