Microdermabrasion?

Hi guppies :slight_smile:

im planning to make a appointment with a spa in town for microdermabrasion, i think this might help with my acne scarring and pores. Im happy with the fact that my skins is in professional hands but scared lol :s has anyone has microdermabrasion done professionally? and do you think its the right option for me?

Where r u located? Microdermabrasion has gd reviews provided you do it frm a gd place. I had sudden outburst of acne after never having them at age 17 and when I was 18+ I went for a microdermabrasion session in the US. It was a nice spa. I think it did help but I wish I had gotten it now when all
My pimples are gone and not when I still had few.

Microdermabrasion is painless and actually soothing if you get someone gd who will gv u attention :)

Im in the UK. The place i am having it done from has great reviews and is professional. I don't have pimples just the odd 2 here and there, but i have acne scars left from them. Do you think it will work for them. and thankyou :)

I had it done once. I didnt see any difference, but I think you have to do more than one session to see any difference. It doesnt hurt, and there was no down time either.

Microdermabrasion is soooo overrated. There are a few threads here on the topic and if I remember correctly every single girl who had it done wrote she saw none/not much improvement at all.

Yeah, I had it done and it was a total waste of time and money :mad:

I would recommend a TCA (or similar) peel over it any day.. there are other treatments as well that are much more effective..
