Web blog ‘Boing Boing’ is reporting that less than 24 hours after it’s release, Windows Genuine Advantage has been “cracked” by a simple javascript exploit.
AV sez, “This week, Micr0soft started requiring users to verifiy their serial number before using Windows Update. This effort to force users to either buy XP or tell them where you got the illegal copy is called ‘Genuine Advantage.’ It was cracked within 24 hours.”
Several sites are already displaying this workaround.
yep the js spl0it apparently worked for some. did u try it on a non-legit copy of winbl0ws?
they also came up with a “work around” for WGA, a cracked .dll ph1l3 that helps you bypass winbl0ws validation check when you go to Windows Update. This should come in handt for most peeps in the .pk region
hmmm many tech forums suggested doing this before the express and custom install option when downloading updates:

i also had the genuinecheck.exe file to patch the key but somehow, the validation key doesnt dload on your pc anymore and with just one click, seedha seedha batata hai ke laanti jaali kopy istemaal kar re ho.
