Micheletti picks Honduras cabinet

**Interim Honduran leader Roberto Micheletti says he is forming a “unity government” without ousted President Manuel Zelaya.**The announcement came as a deadline for implementing a power-sharing agreement and reinstating Mr Zelaya passed.

Mr Micheletti was quoted as saying the cabinet represented a “wide spectrum”, even without Mr Zelaya’s nominees.

Honduras has been shaken by a political crisis that began when Mr Zelaya was forced out of the country on 28 June.

Last week, the two rivals agreed to a US-brokered power-sharing deal and set a deadline of midnight on Thursday (0600GMT Friday) for it to be put into effect.

Mr Zelaya had warned on Thursday that he would withdraw from the deal unless Congress held a vote on his restoration to power.
