I also don't know how they will make this an interesting watch when there are so many interesting serials on air these days.
Everybody knows the story of Heer Ranjha and the ultimate Heer Ranjha (Firdaus-Aijaz fame) is already there. Even the Raj Kumar version.

I think the music and original locations are the plus points. If they work on bits and pieces of the background of the characters, it can be an interesting watch. But no doubt, its a difficult task for them to make viewers watch this specially considering the lost viewership of PTV. There are some good projects like Kalmohi and some latest serials by Tariq Mairaj which didn't get due attention because PTV's viewership issue.
