Miami vs. U of Florida

Yeah, so I decided to peek into this forum - dekhoon ke yahan kya hota hai.

Dont you folks talk about football?

Just an announcement - my team (UM) won over the Florida Gators in an amazing victory this past saturday.

Goooo Hurricanes!!!

Yeah, so are all of you cricket fanatics going to run me out of this forum?

Well you see, there arent many fans of American sports here esp. Football, NBA, Baseball. Which kinda sucks. 99.999% threads are about cricket :)

Yes I saw the Miami/Florida game. My early season prediction for the National Championship is Miami :p. They have now moved to 2nd postition behind the Sooners in AP poll, ahead of Ohio State. Buckeyes, on the other hand narrowly beat San Diego State (32 pt underdogs).

Miami is the thing of the past.
Texas Longhorns will win the BCS this year.

i hate miami...they can just go to hell..traitors

this was one of the best games i've ever seen, i was sure florida would win, quite a comeback.

There is no such thing as thing of the past in sports like these college football/basketball where fresh recruits are coming every year. Just to let you know there are more players from Miami in NFL than from any other school in NFL. I dont have the stats handy right now. Read it in an article. There is a firce battle among the Miami players for the starting line-up postions.

why traitors?

Miami has an allround very good team, but their main weapons was their Q back and Willis Mcghee (not sure thats the correct name) since they are gone, it is very hard for them to really be like what they were in 2001 season.
The best recruit team in the country is Texas, they have had unlimited amount of talents up and coming from local high schools, but oddly they seem to choke when its time for big games and end up losing to OU every year in cotton ball, it will be the same this year.
