Im generally quite easily pleased…but this film annoyed me sooo much…i was fuming afterwards…every character was useless…this is the worst script i have ever witnessed…
the colin farrell character was an idiot…his love story was pathetic and he was a crap cop who followed his dick and not his head…the general consensus of everyone infact…
Everyone was concerned about pussy or dick in the whole film…the villains lives revolved around that stupid girl…a girl who in a position of responsibility showed no reason why she was there in the first place…you dont compromise your work for some man you have just met…
The main villain was pathetic and the guy before him i thought was the only one with any sense but he proved me wrong when he was the third guy whose life revolved around the girl…
What a pathetic set of characters and what a pathetic movie…

why on the earth u even think about watching collin farrell movie ......... in the theatre , errrrrr ( i did it once for the last time)............. his acting is usually pointless and his movies baseless

I loved it. I thought it was an amazing movie. This is one of those movies though which you will either love or hate. I loved it!
I like the way it was filmed, not your standard cameras. For a lot of the shots, it looks like they used a camcorder. 
Other than that, the storyline was very good. Some people found it confusing, I found it easy to follow. I just wish they gave a bit more background as to how the character of Isabella ended up with the Cuban drug cartel.
I quite liked all of the acting in the movie, especially Colin Farrel and Li Gong. He is a very intense actor and has a good ability of expressing emotions on screen. Jamie Foxx was not as good compared to him, although he too did a good job.
This is the best movie I’ve seen so far this year. :k:
If they make a sequel, I will definitely watch it.

There seemed no reason for the love story...in reality would a woman of her position be so easily influenced by some guy no...would a leader of a drug cartel be as naive as he was no...would a good poiliceman let the woman get away no...the whole film was about how all the men were obsessed with that woman and there seemed to be no development...you couldnt relate to why colin farrell liked her or why she him or even why the drug guys gave a shuit about her...she was **** at her job...loads of girls are good for a **** what made her so special...it was easy to follow...it was just a crap movie with no character devlopment...poor acting and worst of all...an awful script...the action was good and to the guy that said i dont know Michael Mann...i love his movies...were sick...his directing was good...his writing was surprisingly awful...was shameful from a guy that did the Insider and Heat...

I watched the movie in theatre. Only positives of the film were the music and cinematography. That's it!
