You see the extent of the awesomeness in this game when you hear the creator himself is dissapointed. Kojima wanted to make this 10x better, but the PS3 (the most powerful system out) had limits which the team reached. Kojima was dissapointed that they couldn't make the game like he originally wanted to, which is 10x better than what it is today...and even for a 10x lesser in awesomeness, its STILL gunna whoop ass! and blow people away!

Acha wait which part you talkin of? The first part was released on SNES I believe and the second was metal gear solid on ps1.

I played MGS1 and loved it. Started 2 yrs ago and didnt get time to finish it and never got my hands on 3rd part. But seeing trailers of MGS4 - it is just too tempting.

I liked the MGS on PSP, my first interaction with such games. My kids are hooked on it as well. I was waiting for that on our PS3-80GB got stolen recently. Clean job. They removed the games, a demo CD and the HDMI cable as well.
