Well, I was minding my own business browsing through threads when I fell upon this picture of a woman in a veil with gleaming eyes and my oh my I found this quite mezmorizing.
Its rare considering my residence is in the western society and I barely (once or twice) see anyone who is covered from head to toe (not even our own ladies do that anymore). The only skin that shows is her eyes.
Being exposed to so much “flesh” I think I find the covered rather attractive than the uncovered scantily bikini clad models posted on billboards. Nowadays, you see everything downtown.
There is something about the veil that only leaves the eyes and the rest covered is extemely seductive and mysterious. I’m not sure why, The attraction (no, no, not in a horny dog with a tail between its legs way) is unexplainable kinda like when I see the very few brave women walk amongst us completely covered yet scrutinized so much.
Am I the only psycho here or are there others?
Hey, I’d appreciate what the females have to say about this attraction or comment on this.
Oh and one more thing, try and keep religion out of it as much as possible. If I wanted to do bring this up in religion this thread would be discussed there.

Your response is quite in par with human nature. If something is covered especially partially as in this case any one would find it mysterious or sedductive and would be curious to know what’s under there.
Now I’m not defending or bashing wearing of the veil, it is the person’s choice. My point was simply that wearing a veil is like a box of chocolate…you never know what you are gonna get.
What about guys? -- haven't really thought about that and personally wouldn’t want to wear one. Veil's purpose is not merely to hide beauty or ugliness, rather it has religious reasonings, which as you asked us not to get in.
I have done some research in computer field and looks to me that above is a very normal thing, when human mind starts registering a pattern, and the pattern breaks, mind does either
[li]stop right there and back off or[/li][li]tries to search for more.[/li] Now, in our case we have a 90% hidden scenario in front of us. Once we look at the 10% part to start, the pattern breaks. STILL we are eXpecting more to see. Rather I should say, our eyes are trying to getting more and more info/details/etc (Let’s face it. Human mind is very curious). So yes, we see and register the 10%, wanting the rest of the 90% (hair, lower face including lips, wrists etc).
RESULT? this mysterious and seductive/mesmorizing/getting lost feeling which actually IS the brainwaves telling our brains that the pattern/info is not complete and we wanna complete it.
Am I the only psycho here or there are others.<<<
without doubt you can count me in coco. (Yes I don’t see harm in this kind of conversation)..
thanks for a good thread and a discussion, keep it up
i think each and every girl has this inner feeling which entices her to look beautiful and more attractive than other female, even if she is not that cool. and wearing veil brings her equivalent to any other girl who is more beautiful but is wearing veil...and we, being men when look at such girl we try to perceive her features in the best possible way...i mean its like perceiving a face to its best.
and i guess thats what you are talking about...and thats why we find a girl in veil more appealing than the one who doesnt wear veil.
Its quite interesting to know that Confused sahib. So its curiousity that keeps us going. Your saying that (hypothetically) if in a room full of nude people there was one dressed; the fatal attraction/curiousity would be towards that person regardless of how dazzling the others look eh? Its quite an interesting theory.

isnt it about the first impression.
Thats leaves a footstep behind, and makes someone curious to know more about the person, I think this also playes a role init.
except the mystery(in wich I do believe) is the impression, or do I have to say the first impression also very important to make someone curious...
i agree with u as well but u knwo what paki womens are doing these days in burqa.. they are being unfair with their husbands and their parents.. in my last visit of pak i saw lots of burqa posh womens in universities, when their classes are over they went out with their dates without even lettingt heir parents.. and i was literally schoked when i saw them hanging out with their lovers, cuz i used to think ke ohh ghooosh burqa pehenne wali womens are the
cuz they are following right path of Islami.. but not anymore.. let me tell u something interesting i know a couple who been married for 6 years..no children. wife was a professor in college arround 35 yrs old she was a complete burqa posh khatoom, 5 times namaazi parhaiz gaar, and her husband was parhaiz gaar too he was arround 45, he trust her wife alot, one day his wife ask his permission if any of her college student can come to her house for tution he said ok, he never imagine what would have happened.. there was one guy he was arround 21 he start comming to her house every day for tution specially when his husband not home he kept comming till 2 3 months then they both in fall love and that boy proposed her, he knows she is married but still and then she ask her husband to give divorse and when he said no she starts telling every one in family and other family that i can never be a mother cuz of his fault so i want divorse and all that, her husband didnt said anything cuz she really made him badnaam every whr and he never tell the truth to anyone but then he gave her what she want and after her iddat(40 days) she married that guy without wasting anytime, its been like 3 yrs no kids..
anyway my point is ke har burqe wale ache nahi hote.. isi liay sometime kinda hates them
kehte hain na aik gandi machli poora talaab ko ganda karti hia.. this happenes to me.. i agree with u and yes they are respectable but some men womens are just destroying our society..
