I know Naughty by Nature just came back and posted pics awhile back. You might want to PM him and ask where he went to learn espanol.

Adios Amigo.

Re: mexico travel

Where in mexicO u going? Well, at the airport, they were being idiots b/c they couldn’t understand that my husband had written the date european style (11/1 instead of 1/11) and only let him go when we gave him 20 $
Otherwise, i don’t recall any discrimination but it was really surprising and not to mention frustrating that even the ppl who worked in airports and banks did not speak a word of English. So its best to carry arond a dictionary, and when you’re going out to eat, learn to say “no pork please.” They put pork in everything… but otherwise, its a nice place to go

Re: mexico travel

I went Cancun which is touristy and most ppl could speak english...They were cool with me though but i dont look typical...browns a good thing i reckon cos your a tourist but your still viewed as ethnic which they're cool with...i also spoke to them in spanish which they appreciated...Mexicos a big place though and iv heard different things about every place...where in Mexico you looking to hit?...

Anyone been to Porta VAllarta?

Re: mexico travel

Mexico is actually very good for travel. No discrimination, so don't worry. Language is not a problem in the usual tourist centers such as Cancun, Mexico City etc. When we went, I persona;ly had a problem because we couldn't find too many vegetarian dishes anywhere
