Nope! Only if you do it every 3 months.
Re: Metrosexuality
Me...man. You...woman. Where...sandwich?
There is nothing wrong with a man taking care of his looks and being nicely groomed. Mani/Pedis are fine...facials etc A-Ok.
But...
Makeup and Nail Polish? That, IMO, is opening yourself up to taunts and ridicule.
At the end of the day, it's your life...your body. Do what makes you happy.
Oh man do I disagree. I got into a semi serious argument with a girl at one of my internships over this lol. Her boyfriend may have been of the mani/pedi persuasion so I might have pissed her off with my jokes.
I never noticed that before. Reminds me of Joey's man purse in FRIENDS.
Is the world ready for the man purse now?
I don't find Depp attractive at all.
What about Captain Jack Sparrow?
Re: Metrosexuality
I personally don’t like girly guys, and would probably pee in my pants if my husband ever went for a Mani/Pedi…but then again, he doesn’t have knarly hands and feet to begin with.
As far as facials go…last year on fathers day I booked him an old fashioned hot towel shave with the lather and straight blade doohickey. He rather enjoyed it. ![]()
Re: Metrosexuality
^ That’s a man shave. When you said facial, I was picturing something like Marie Barone’s night cream
.
My feet are messed up looking from years of basketball. And my hands are all calloused up from weight lifting.

Re: Metrosexuality
Moisturiser will do you some good. Sparrow of Depp not my taste. ![]()
Re: Metrosexuality
Besides, if I softened my hands, they would get cut up again from the weights. They’re not that bad, just slightly rough. I don’t understand why some men try to be “softer” than women.

Re: Metrosexuality
What’s wrong with not wanting ugly hands? :smack: Sure, they are not! Prove it!
Although yea, no man should have softer hands than mine. :snooty:
Re: Metrosexuality
Hey don’t push me woman. I could totally make a fortune as a hand model (like Joey) but modelling is haram. ![]()
Re: Metrosexuality
Astagfirullah that too in Ramadan eh? What was I thinking?
Re: Metrosexuality
Whatever floats their boat.
On the same notion, people are free to call make up wearing men whatever they like.
Why should these men care? ![]()
Re: Metrosexuality
Calloused hands are evidence of your hard work at gym, they don't come easy.
Re: Metrosexuality
What is wrong with facials and all that jazz for men?

Re: Metrosexuality
^If you're comfortable with using make up and beauty products then you shouldnn't worry what others think.
