I never noticed that before. Reminds me of Joey’s man purse in FRIENDS.
All actors, most newscasters, guests on TV shows have some makeup on, even many politicians before their speeches. Even if it is something just to stop their face from shining.
Of course this is based on observations in US. In Pakistan it's quite an achievement if the people take a shower and change their undies before a public appearance.
Btw- is surma in eyes also taboo or khizab in beard. It is kinda along the same lines.

Really depends on which part of the world you are coming from…East Asia it is quite normal for guys to wear make-up…specially South Koreans…
personally I dnt like it if my guy wore make-up, but manis and pedis I will be fine with…and no eye-brow plucking either…I prefer my man to have bushy eye-brows
