i’d like to know too..sounds like a cool job..travelling visiting new cities and stuff. Only drawback, hving to deal with travellers :disgust:

An anonymous someone from my suburban village was an aspiring air steward, we thought it was rather gay, so discouraged him, now he’s a police officer in the Met (more manly profession).

I am being presumptuous here, I thought beauty and youth were prerequisites, beats me how the employers circumvent employment equality laws.

Not as glamorous as it’s perceived, jet lag, disturbed sleep patterns, regular mundane monotomous flight routes, postage stamp sized cabins, grumpy ungrateful customers.

Contrary to belief prevalent in desi community in USA , the only way to find a job in USA is to possess the right skills , apply for the job, go for the interview , get selected , live happily ever after.
But if you do not possess the right skills you can still find job as a burger flipper if you move to the right state and make more than minimum wage and get other benefits like medical insurance.
For example in Wisconsin they pay 8 dollars an hour to burger flippers and medical coverage, even to part timers. And they are always hiring. The cost of living is very low there . No rush hours traffic, clean and clear air. Just it get very cold during winter.
