metal is the kind of music EP does (although they fuse rock in it).. i think metal is okay as long as it doesn't go to the grunge type thing..

I listen to lots of different types of metal from classic metal like iron maiden, judas priest, and ozzy osbourne to melodic death metal like At the Gates, In Flames, Dark Tranquillity, etc...
Ikahroon, you should check out Beyond Shadows (They have a website but I can't can't post links yet cause I don't have enough posts. Search for them and you'll find the site.)The style of their music is similar to the bands you listed and their singer/lead guitarist is of pakistani descent.
