Now this is what I was waiting for. When Tina Fey left Saturday Night Live, it left me both sad and excited. I didn’t want an SNL free of the Fey, but it was about time the woman got fame beyond the comedy show – especially considering some of the other alums who have found success on the big screen. *30 Rock *was a nice change, but outside of the show, her starring projects have filled me with “eh.” I’ve been waiting for that one special comedy – the project that would be more than a typical bag of laughs we forget in a year or two – something that plucks at the best of her talents and pits her against actors that seem too good to be true.
Now, finally, I think she’s found that gig alongside Meryl Streep and Stanley Tucci.
