Other questions in regards to details and how it was done:
Peacock Cake Pops -- these I had made by Kcreative (check facebook). I can make cake pops, but these character ones are way to time consuming and out of my league. There are soooooo many creative desserts- cookies, maccaroons, etc. look in your areas, facebook, see what you can find!
The mehendi plates: i bought foam, painted them, hot glue together.. the diamond studded ribbon, hot glue around. everything placed on 3 plates to give it height
the flower chaddar- my sister worked hard on this one! so i had bought thin bamboo sticks and green sturdy ones (used to lift at edges). zip tied fake flowers from michaels symetrically to each thinner bamboo to give it a base. then brother drilled holes into the gree bamboo that was on edges. had the guys carry this, while we walked in front, rest of guys dancing in the back.. bride walked in on chalte chalte.. this was the vision i had come to life, perfect, allhamdulillah
guys mehndi entrance: amazing. speechless. first strobe lights and 3 guys walked in slow motion.. then girls came in with tea lights and did a quick dance.. then couples did a short dance.. then the room went black, everyone was around the groom, lights came on and he danced in on Jus Din Mera Viya hoyega..
dances- we had many at mehendi, none at shaadi.. again, usually my bro closes with last dance number and opens dance floor. but my dulha bhai- he not only brought the last dance, blew us all away with his dance... samson has it in his highlights, which we should load up soon.
mashallah, it came together. gosh.. so many details we had... any other questions, let me know i can field them as i get a break here at work...
