I for one, do not "hate" Humayun Saeed, thats too strong a word :) I think he looks a little burnt out, maybe he needs some time off or something. Recently every drama i have seen of him, he sounds exactly the same, regardless of the character...i used to really like him, i loved him in 'peela jora' but i think he stretched himself too thin by jumping into everything at the same time thus not being able to do justice to his roles. just my 2 cents.
hate is to strong a word to use in this context.you should be open to criticism especially artists.otherwise, they'll never figure out their flaws. personally, I think humayun is over-rated.don't get me wrong he's a good actor but somehow he has confined himself to these lovey dovey romantic roles only.it's tiring to watch him do the same thing over and over again.
Javed Sheikh is only doing side roles..... nothing too major or out of the world. Srk ka OSO main Abba banna is not an achievment.....
I wish Humayun Saeed all the best!! he needs to open up more..... I noticed in many of his interviews and serials..... he is too closed.... it seems he gets his script... and he just reads it out.... with limited expressions............ Allah Allah khar sala! I dont dislike him..... all i dont like about him.... is the hype created around him........ he is turning out to be SRK of Pakistan. same acting with tons of hype. It is indeed so refreshing to be in conversation with you...as you have not gone bereft once..since we had detailed exchange of thoughts. I also see that you are not hip hopping at every thread by making yourself a spectacle...(for God knows reason)
Now then....I do firmly believe that everyone has it's highs and lows..specially in showbiz. Look at Sadia Imam...what a wonderful artiste she is...but somehow she is either loosing her touch in the eyes of her fans/viewers...and sometimes I wonder why? only to get the answer from wilderness that the cycle keeps recycling itself..in such way.
Whatever you say about Humayun's great rise-n-fall.... is nothing new to him.. he realizes that he too is 32+ but believe you me... every production house in pakistan.. is ready to climb the snow-white mountains of Alaska...to cast him. I am a witness to his refusing umpteenth serials and plays..... SO? what's all that about? In showbiz, it's the voice of minority...not majority that matters. What really matters is the market value...of the artiste...however horrible looking and hated he may be like me....! as we are reminded about the fact that he or she must have worked hard to acquire the place--where he or she are exceling now.
**Despite all that... its the greatness of Humayun Saeed that he wholeheartedly accepts his failure in M.A.M as informed to him by me having read some bitterest remarks *(unless they were cascaded for fashion sake!)** against him here by some followers and "PUNDITS" of this thread.*** He is one of the most patient and a pure GENTLEMEN of a character in showbiz (rarely found) I have ever met.
