Oh man.. this is too hard. I have so many favorites. And I'm breaking the rules because I find wisdom from all traditions!
The entire book of Song of Solomon
An excerpt-- "Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth—
for your love is more delightful than wine. "
Within the Jewish tradition, it's seen as an allegory of the relationship between God and Israel. For Christians it's an allegory of chirst and the church/or the believer.
Guru Granth Sahib
"Do not say that the Vedas, the Bible and the Koran are false. Those who do not contemplate them are false."
