Nigerian state lawmakers burned Danish and Norwegian flags Tuesday and cancelled a 23-million-euro (27-million-dollar) contract to import buses in protest at cartoons depicting the Prophet Mohammed. What a farce! What hypocrisy! It's not OK to insult your prophet by drawing cartoons. However, beheading someone in his name is totally allowed. Yelling out the name of Allah while committing a homicide bombing is no problem either.

I agree more condemnation of the beheadings and bombing
but whenever muslim leaders condemn violence their voices are not heard in the media

Shops in Russian Region Boycotts Goods from Denmark
Major trade network in the Russian internal republic of Tatarstan with about 50 percent Muslim population has removed Danish goods from its stores. Edelweiss Group is the biggest trade network in the region, possessing almost half of all grocery stores in the republic and its capital of Kazan. The company decided to boycott several sorts of sausage and ham, as well as Danish beer. The company’s press service quoted by Radio Liberty said this decision had been made in response to the release of cartoons of Prophet Mohammed in the Danish press. It added the company would have acted the same if any other religion had been insulted. “We think that one cannot offend the feelings of believers whether they are Moslems, Christians, Jews or Buddhists,” the company’s leadership quoted by the radio said. Announcements on the boycott of Danish goods have been posted in all the company’s stores.

Now just imagine if we Muslims were more united with stable governments. Our combined economic power would have been enough to get America out of Iraq.

What is coming out of this is more validation of what people believe about Muslims already. Muslims are prone to violence, and will go off at the smallest provocation. You protest the depiction of your prophet as a terrorist, you protest the image people have of Muslims around the world, yet do nothing to change the image. On the contrary, your leaders by calling for a anti Jewish cartoons validate yoru hatred for Jews and all the stereotypes people around the world have.

Islam was united under one state and this time is on its way again and the west doing everything in their power to prevent it but the best they can do is place obstacles to this because it is inevitable to happen!

I just opened a thread in Religion and saw this thread where my question might have been more relevant.
Fleming Rose, the editor of the Jyllinds-Posten newspaper that started the Cartoons, just said that he doesn't agree with the premise that Mhd cannot be shown in a picture or cartoon because acc. to him you can buy posters and post cards in Teheran that show the prophet. Is this true?
