Back in sept, when it wasnt so well known, 11 muslim countries wanted to meet the danish PM over this issue, and other issues affecting danish muslims, but he snubbed them outright as apparently there was no need to meet them. Today that arrogance has got him begging on his behind, to meet the very same people he turned down a few months ago. shameful git.

there is no doubt that economic pressure from UAE and KSA has made
the Danish PM think carefully about this issue.

I only started following the story few days ago. If the story was put away in September, how did it catch fire again? I'm assuming someone else published the cartoon in the newspapers again?
While at it, I must say how sad and upsetting it was to see Muslims resorting to violent protests and holding extreme banners. I'm sure this could've been dealt with a decent protest without the unnecessary banners and chants.

Do look like that Denmark is stepping backward, though what would be undercurrent in whole Danish population towards Islam. May be we will see a racist party gaining votes in Denmark's next election. As is happening in many other countries in Europe.............

Yes, we do see GS as a board where varied views can be posted.
Or this isn't another or multiple fanatic Islamic site. That's why you have people here trying to give perspective of different people.
Most of the non-Muslims aren't here cause they hate Islam. They are here cuase they want to understand why things are going so wrong in understanding Islam by others in the world as well to give own point of view to majority of Muslim guppies
So may be we can understand each other better in long run..... Rather than terrorist attacks or war with each other........
