Of course I don't believe that all mullahs or Muslims are fanatics. Just like all Danes aren't all racists or anti-Muslim. But that hasn't stopped many from linking all of Denmark to the newspaper responsible.
But you have to realize that none of this happens in a vaccuum. While most Muslims may disapprove of the radicalization of Islam by some, it is a very visible face of Islam to the west.
If we had 1/100th of the protest against these cartoons that insult Islam as we do with extremists that insult Islam by preaching intolerance and killing in its name, these cartoons never would have been published.

You see, this is not our problem. If you and your bias media can't tell the truth then its your fault. You should seek the truth. When you know that most of the Muslims aren't fanatics then why you say that? Why believe in it? Why associate the Religion with it?
You talk about fanatics fanatics all the time like an old record but when you turn your own radio on what do you get? American fanatics giving threats. What's the difference dude? Do they represent the entire America? If yes, then these minority Mullah fanatics are probably right.
Exactly. There's a huge variety of diverse people in Pakistan, from working women helming corporations to folks driving the thriving fashion/entertainment scene. All you get to hear about is crap -- fanatics and fatwas -- crap that fits into the pre-conceived biases of the target western audience. They definitely want to see us in a specific way.
