Islam cartoon row editor is ‘devastated’
A student newspaper editor who published a controversial cartoon depicting the prophet Mohammed is today said to be ‘devastated’. Tom Wellingham, editor of Gair Rhydd, Cardiff’s University Students’ Union paper, was suspended after publishing the caricature, which sparked protests across the world when it was previously published by a Danish newspaper. The Gair Rhydd copies were hastily pulled off the news stands over the weekend. The paper, the winner of the Best Student Newspaper of the Year 2004/2005, is so far the only newspaper in the UK to have published any of the offending cartoons. And as a body representing Muslim students calls for calm, former Gair Rhydd staff say Mr Wellingham is devastated and has gone to stay with his parents in England.

In an interview, mullah Ahmad Abu Laban said that he also included pictures that were not published in any newspaper, which means he fabricated and lied to stir up Muslim anger, because he wanted to show that the Muslims in Denmark live amongsts athiests. So here is a guy, who migrates to Denmark, knowing well it is an athiest kaffir country, then insists that they follow Islamic laws or their embassies will go up in flames. Ohioguy, quite to the contrary...that is exactly what they want to do. It had a Dane saying that all their fears about Muslims are coming true...that they want to come to the country and force everyone to accept their norms, instead of living by the law of the land.
