I don’t take this drama too seriously. It is ENTERTAINMENT - nothing more. I am not walking away with any messages like I am Humsafar and Maat. Alot of time times things in drama (reel) tend to be much more exaggerated to make sure that the viewer is seeing the POV of the author. It is harder when character is more subtle to see his/her flaws…typically in REAL life things are not purely IN BLACK AND WHITE.
I do feel that Mahum’s character is expoited for being Shareef both by her in-laws and her family especially her bhabi. Something snaps in her to make her do these things. It is definitely a far fetched story but it sort of has poetic justice.
