i was shocked to see new orleans doctors actually considered killing patients after they knew patient lives were in danger. what was more disturbing was the 80 percent cnn readers who agreed with the poll that mercy killings ought to be sanctioned. if death is inevitable… then killing someone is not murder. what gives?

Back to the topic, I will vote against it. till its not their time they wont die and who are the docs to give them death sentence. God forbid, ppl are playing God's role now. sad!

You have 100 beds. You have thousands of patience. If you concentrate resources on saving one life (that might be saved) you are taking away those medicine and time from other patience that CAN be saved.
Anyway, its all up for debates since we are not there and do not know exactly what they are dealing with.
Do I support them? Depends on situtation, generally NO
Do I undestand wat they are trying to do? Yes
