souchta hoon kay usay neend bhi ate ho gee
yah mere trha faqt ashq bahate ho gee

woh mere shakal, mera naam bohlanay wale
apne tasveer say kia aankh milate ho gee

is zameen per bhi hain say-laab meray ashko’n say
meray matam kee sada arsh hilate ho gee

shaam hotay he woh choktay pay jala kar sham-yanay
apne palko’n pay kaee khwaab sulate ho gee

us nay sehla liayay hoon gay sehha rung kay libaas ab mehraam kee tarha eid manatee ho gee

dil ke massom ragaein khud he sulagte ho gee johnee tasveer ka kona woh jalate ho gee

hote ho gee meray bosay ke talab mein pagal
jub bhi zulfo`n mein koi pohl sajate ho gee

meray tareek zamano`n say nikalnay wale
roshni tujh ko mere yaad dilate ho gee
