Find it ironic that Nazia is said to be more beautiful when Sanam Saeed (who plays Shazia) was a model by profession. Unusual casting.

^^ yeah it is strange since Sanam Saeed definitely has better features than Syra. Syra is pretty in a cute 18 year old girl sort of a way. Sanam has more defined features.
I love the scenes between the 3 ladies. It's just fantastic to see all of them in one frame!!

This drama is a an adaptation of novel "sister of my heart " by Chitra Banerjee.
I like it. Sanam Saeed is very talented. She acts very natural and she is also a very good singer. She played the lead in musical Chicago.

love this drama! I think I was holding my breath the whole time the phuppi was telling that story!
The story is too awful to be completely believable.....uuuhhh so much drama! :D

This drama is fast turning into a typical chauvinistic story that demonizes women and portrays men as gullible and innocent victims. The fact that samina peerzada seduced an unsuspecting Rehan Sheikh into impregnating her is too simplistic and insulting to basic intelligence.... unless of course the writer is implying that she tied him up and raped him, which too is highly improbable given his size!
Also wasn't our naik parveen Phuphee Ammi aware of the affair that had been going on for 6/8 Months ?!?! for crying out loud she lived under the same freakin roof and could have easily intervened by confronting the two, but she chose to remain silent and watch the tamasha instead! why???was she happy that at least someone in the house was getting laid (since she obviously wasn't)?? or did she secretly hate rubina ashraf and want her marriage to fall through?..

^ lol true, but i like the way its done, its unapologetically afsanwi. i like the music that comes on at such high drama moments, not the melodramatic rona music but high pitched to make the scene appear lighter then what it is, like the one with sajid hassan when he was being a bee jamalo or whenever samina peerzada is being a drama queen the music makes the scene seem so frivolous, which it is.

I have to disagree with you here. I think the point of the whole flashback was focusing on what happened not how it happened. They didn't really show how sameena peerzada seduced him but we do know that she did it and she was successful. She planned it all by sending her husband away. I don't think it something that can't happen. Sure it happens and it can happen. They don't care who the victim or who the suspect was, what they care about is that nazia and shazia's father is the same person. So focus on what's been shown don't go too much into band darwazay ke peechay kia kia hua ho ga. Aurat ne mard ko kis nazar se daikha ho ga to uss ka dil aa gaya uss pe.
Phuppe knew what was going on but she couldn't stop it. She clearly says this. She tried to warn Rubina Ashraf but she trusted her husband too much or maybe she just didn't think he was capable of doing all this so she was fine leaving for her mother's. If two people are committed to do wrong/adultery then what can a third person who know its all wrong.. do. Even when Sameena Perzada's husband walks into the room she is hiding behind Rehan Sheikh.
Like I said these things happen all the time, its just that no one talks about it.
