Meow! Cattiness as an art form

I will be the first to admit, women have cattiness down to an art form. Men can not hope to surpass women when it comes to the backhanded compliments/insults, holding on to grudges, or just generally being a drama queen.

Why do you think that is? :khumar:

Disclaimer: This is a stereotype about women and does not apply to ALL women, only to some and yes, there are some men who are worse than women when it comes to being catty, petty, overly sensitive and melodramatic

Re: Meow! Cattiness as an art form

Why so many topics lately? Don't you have some legal document to look over that makes life tougher for guys like me trying to eek out a living?

*How was that for catiness? :D

Re: Meow! Cattiness as an art form

claps for Slims While that was a valiant attempt, there was no backhanded compliment that masked an insult - you were too direct. You have much to learn ;)

And worry not, I'm just taking a short break from reviewing the documents.

Re: Meow! Cattiness as an art form

present, miss waves hand in the air

Re: Meow! Cattiness as an art form

Sigh backhanded compliment fail fml

Re: Meow! Cattiness as an art form

Not all women have it down to an art form....for some the brilliant comeback comes to mind much after the offender has left, LOL. I think perfect timing is an important skill in the art. Harder to deal with when it's someone you didn't expect if from....but if you're used to this quality in a person, maybe it's easier to be prepared next time.

Re: Meow! Cattiness as an art form

I strongly disagree with your red text!

Re: Meow! Cattiness as an art form

I think this holds true only for those women that can't see past the tips of their noses.....
No matter what is going on around them they can only see how their life has been impacted.

Re: Meow! Cattiness as an art form

^Yup. They can't be happy for you....they're more concerned with how your success/happiness impacts them/their image, etc. Sadly, they can't even fake being happy/nice/supportive, etc.

Re: Meow! Cattiness as an art form

I strongly agree with red text.

Re: Meow! Cattiness as an art form

exactly!

and heaven forbid you might disagree with their moans and groans in life.......then you've just painted a giant bull's eye on yourself!
you can expect to have all the sarcasm directed to you.....

Re: Meow! Cattiness as an art form

My ex girlfriend was very catty. She would be ready to jump on any female friend i have. In fact she chased them away, without any reason. In addition to that, she actually used to call other girls ugly as she was pretty.

Xtron beauty doesn't last forever, it's the internal beauty that lasts. You may be the most beautiful person in the world, but if you lack respect and personality there is no point of that beauty.

Re: Meow! Cattiness as an art form

This. All women are catty to some degree. Just like all men tend to think with their other "head" once in a while.

Re: Meow! Cattiness as an art form

so true :chai:

Re: Meow! Cattiness as an art form

Whilst I agree some women are little doggies who like the sound of their own bark, I think the sly 'im-trying-to-give-you-advice-but-really-im-being-a-patronising-condesending-little-so-and-so' one's are much worse than the catty ones.

I would prefer someone argue back with me, albeit with catty remarks.

Re: Meow! Cattiness as an art form

I am totally agreed with you here… :chai:

Re: Meow! Cattiness as an art form

I take it you like cats more than dogs...

Re: Meow! Cattiness as an art form

Dogs are stupid, they just bark. Cats are evil little fur balls.

Re: Meow! Cattiness as an art form

I agree with your post to some extent, but all women are not like that except my mom, sister, and wife. :@:
