How come this ‘note wakha , mood bana’ psyche entered religious gatherings like Qawwali and Naat Khwani?
Was that practice always there in such gatherings or its latest commercialism?

PS: The religion has become more and more full of dramaybaazi and rang rangeeniaaN.
Now I will be called wahabi, gustakhe rasool and kafir, etc etc. But thats the truth. People are attracted to dramazybazi.

lols. I had opened it in R&S, if that was a religious act that became part of cultural practice. Its other way around.
I would like to hear if Bhajan singers are treated same (showering notes to make their mood)?

There is this strange custom in Sindh where they use a maala / haar made of currency notes for grooms.

noton wala haar… I saw these Haars in 90s when I attended wedding in Hyderabad… those haars were also seen rarely in Karachi during that period
