Menu Help

My husband is coming back from KSA on Saturday. His flight would be arrived in evening InshAllah so I would serve him dinner. But now I’m confused about the menu. I am not in the favor of something oily or heavy. I need some help as I have no idea what one should be served after he/she comes from travel. I can’t prepare a long menu as I have to look after my lovely 11 months old daughter.

I was thinking about Paratha rolls with some sauce and salad. What do you think?

Hoping to get your replies soon

Re: Menu Help

aloo paratha kar lo.
samosas-kababs ker lo.

Re: Menu Help

Paratha at night , :nessy: .. really bad idea .. its heavy .. plus dont forget , he will have eaten on the flight too …

I would do either chicken karhai type of salan and chapati … or you can do Koftay ka salan and pulao .. thats a really nice combination …

Re: Menu Help

I was going to suggest kofta and poo-la-o as CB did above.

Re: Menu Help

** karhai**

Re: Menu Help

khanay main time ki koi qaid nahi hai apun ko.

but yeah flight pe kha chuka hoga. so best hal hai ke nightinagle tum kehna “flight pe tou kha hi chuke hoge ab so jaao…khana ab kal raat/dopehar ko mile ga”

Re: Menu Help

Blessed , you are evil :omg:

Re: Menu Help

cook whatever he likes even if its just one dish....

Re: Menu Help

:hehe: you guys are funny.

CB I was actually thinking about “paratha rolls” not the parathas. the way i made them is not too oily or heavy. I just take frozen parathas with some light chicken filling.

Waise making kofta and pulao is not a bad idea. Should I serve him a proper dinner? (dont think am being lazy or something but i dont want him to waste my mehnat )

Re: Menu Help

he says that he likes everything i make for him that's why am confused. he loves paratha rolls that's why i was asking about opinion. heavy or light dinner?

Re: Menu Help

oh ok Nightingale … khilao gi to pata chaly ga bi ki paratha rolls kia hota bi :cb:

I dont think it will be mehnat wasted … its nearly 4-5 hour flight from saudi to pakistan … and even though he might not feel immediately hungry in the excitement to meet the family and all … but believe you me , he will be hungry once you put the food infront of him … :@:

Re: Menu Help

you are right CB Allah karay aisa hi ho :hehe:

Any more suggestions please?

My favourite food after a flight is either pulao or keema roti. Yum.

or u saying that when a dish is made it is eaten on the day and a new dish is made on the next day?
