Mentioning deceased Grandparent in wedding card wording

So I searched the forum for wedding card wording but couldn’t find anything on this particular topic.

Here is my dilemma, I’m wording my shaadi card, and I want to include my deceased Grandfathers name and I’m trying to figure out how to word it:

Mr. Aboo and Mrs. Ammi request your presence at the wedding of their daughter
Mano
(Granddaughter of the Late Mr. Dada jaan & Mrs. Dadi jaan)
to
Prince Charming
Son of Mr. Abba and Mrs. Amma

If I word it that way, then the grandparents part gets in the way of the alignment of the couple name which I want to be like this:

Mano
to
Prince Charming

Also, I want to mention my grandfathers name before my grandmothers, but since I’m putting the term “Late” in front of my grandfathers name, I don’t want it to look like the word “Late” applies to the both of them, it is only my grandfather who is deceased, not my grandmother. Also is there another way I could term “Late” would it be appropriate to use the term Marhoom? How would that be phrased?

pulling hair out HELP!

Re: Mentioning deceased Grandparent in wedding card wording

  • In memory of -------, grandfather of the bride

                        or

With the blessings of The late grandfather and The grandmother

Mr. Dad and Mrs. Mom invite....

I'll keep thinking.

Re: Mentioning deceased Grandparent in wedding card wording

Putting 'Late' with your grandfather's name does not make it look like it applies to your grandmother too. So go with what you have, it looks okay.

Re: Mentioning deceased Grandparent in wedding card wording

This is good, lekin I really want to have my grandparents name in relationship to me on the card, I really want it to say "granddaughter," this arrangement is just showing relationship of parents to grandparents

Re: Mentioning deceased Grandparent in wedding card wording

Put "late" in parentheses after his name like Mr. Dada jaan (late).
