lol…yeah i was about to say the same thing in my earlier reply that she’s cursing and all that just b/c of what she’s going through. i was talking to my friend one day and she was telling me how much it hurts. then out conversation led to pregnancy and she said “jitni takleef hoti hai na delivery k waqt, agar tum larkey delivery karo, tou cheekhen maar maar k mar jaao”…i was literally laugh out loud 
nothing to be ashamed about at all. boot the person who tells you otherwise.
i dont mind telling pple i have my period if someone asks me what's wrong. even if it is a guy. i appreciate men who dont feel uncomfortable about it. granted, i wouldn't get into a detailed description of it, since its not really necessary to talk about casually.
but the guppies of the chatroom know that I'm pretty apt to announce my period. however, i only do that so if i get someone angered, they'll excuse me for being mean since its probably pms associated.

I dont tell anyone when its that time. Not even female friends. I'd only share with my husband. I like to keep it to myself. However I have had other friends tell me when they have it. I feel all shy when they do that, but of course I dont mind it as they are simply sharing with me another aspect of their lives.

Think about it...either she'll vent it out with her girlfriends, or she'll vent it out on you, or she'll block up her feelings inside of her and just explode one day.

well yeah i won't mind if she shares it with someone who she knows well, her sister or mom, or very close friend. but not with her other friends who have boyfriends and tell them everything. i am saying this because this has happened to me. my fiance used to let her school friends know and then they used to talk about it with other people. i ddidn't like it. i just didn't feel comfortable with the idea that everyone knows it and then stares at her. i hope you get what i mean. i just don't know how to explain it....i am bad at that:(

first of all man who says u dont tell guys. man i always knw when my friends are on it. well not all not most.
all i know is that if any of my female friends tell me they are having their cycle, i would NOT freak out. i would be totally normal and i would behave as i normally behave because this is something totally natural and they don't have control over it. if someone embarrasses them or makes fun of them, it's like making fun of someone when they sneaze, eat, or making fun of guys when they have wet dreams because this is something we do not have any control over.

cuz we are not that much advance shikra and sooner or later ur wife will share this to you
we are not ashamed cuz its a natural thing by god to a women so i think we kept it secret as we dont like it to share just like ppl dont like to share their other secrets !
And especially muslim womens dont wanna share this to any male only her husband !

oh no, i understand that issue that it's a secret just like other secret and it's fine if you don't wanna share it. but some people are saying that if they do tell it to guys, they act funny, so i was just trying to defend that point that if they do tell it to guys, guys shouldn't freak out.

it doesnot matter what guys think if we tell them or not in both aspects they will freak out not to worried abt their thinking so u still think that this matter should b disclose to boyzzz ??
