Menstrual Pain

Sorry ... I know i m in wrong thread .. but if any one of u hav a good or parmenant cure 4 this prob plz PM me ...

Sorry to intrude! Couldn’t help noticing the ‘Pain’ in this thread thus my my reply.
Taking any ‘Painkiller’ when the pain has struck already, will not help or at least not immediately.
Advil-Ibuprofen is a coated tablet. Purpose of coating is to delay its
Effect until it reaches a certain area of stomach, where the coating gets dissolved and the ‘actual medicine’ gets exposed and starts to dissolve and enters the body fluids and blood stream to take its effect.

As a result your severe pain would go away at least 3-4 hours after
Taking the 400mg of Advil-ibuprofen, not instantly.

But the consolation point of ibuprofen is that it has no side effects on the body and has proven to be extremely safe. Girls should start taking it 2-3 days prior to their expected 1st day of period. 400mg 1 in the morning and take twice a day on the 1st day of the period if needed, otherwise one -1 should be OK. Inshallah you’ll feel the clear deference
In adopting this system.

Last but not least, if you have Access to a doctor’s prescription, than
try to get Tylanol#5 with codin. Take it on the day you get cramps and you’ll say, wowww, Its a miracle,

I’m not a doctor or any thing but I’m very keen on various subjects and their functionalities, thus this information.

Remember me in your prayers if I was any help. Thanks :hehe::k:

I have the knowledge of at least one more ‘totka’ remedy, but later,

:rotfl: :rotfl:
gathering info 4 the future

I often pass out with pain, several times a day sometimes. Its stupid pain, it suusally lasts 4 days most.

But yes if u have any remedy send it in this direction. :k: much aprpeciated.

get pregnant .. no more menstrual pain for 9 months

Why, what a good idea!!!!

Now where did I put that sperm bank number?

Take Ibuprofen 2x400mg in severe pain as mentioned in my post OR Tylenol#4 with codin one every 12 hours.
tylenol#4 dissolves faster in stomach because it has a very thin clear 'delay coating'

The other "totka" I have to confirm it with some one. inshallah I'll post it in few days..:p

I was gonna say something similar…

Well, different girls have this problem for different reasons. There cannot be one method to treat all. One has to find the reason why she is suferring from that. Well, first of all, a healthy girl should not go through it. Some face it cz of weakness. Some cz they are fat. Some cz of hormonal imbalance. It can be cured by determining the reason first and then treating that.

A combination of all the above in a healthy way, this can be treated. Excercise is very important and a healthy diet. If it persist inspite of these measures then you need to see a doctor to find out what is causing it.

And oh please dont think that the severe pains are "normal". No, they are not.

A very simple remedy that works - is a warm compress on the tummy.Pills dont help half as much.

^^ It is Normal ! This is the view of the Gyny's specialist. Its not a desease and NO its not a "Bemaari" or a body dysfunction 2ndly the pain level does differ from women to women. There is no known permanent cure for it, just the pain killer that we are talking about.

Bananas,Pinapple,Grapes /Ice + Tea / coffee are not good in that condition.

If you think you need Iron supplement then Dr should check it first.
Otherwise excess Iron could be a disaster, it is so important to maintain that level.

motapa can casue period pains?

My mum had them as severe as me if not worse and she was a stick person. I think it may just be hereditary in my case. The docs say there is nothing to be done.

But damnit is it painful :k:

If the pain is continuous and intense, always insist that the doctor do an ultra sound to make sure there isn't a problem with the ovaries (cycsts, rupture, etc.). No harm in checking.

Not to say it's a "disease" but halthy girls should not go through more than a "slight" uneasy feeling. Talk to a good gyn, you'd know.

not "motapa" but from what I have heard is it is some sort of "swelling" in the internal abdomen which is caused by lack of excercise or sitting alot..... the muscles become weak.

Why are u smacking ur head and rolling back ur eyes, I was being polite and asking a legit question.

I could have mis interpreted the eye rolling etc, so no offence intended :k:

:flower1:

I feel truly blessed alhamdulillah, as I hardly have severe cramps.

Anyway, what works best for me is heating pad, tylenol/advil/brufen(sp?)/motrin, and foremost duaas!
