I got my husband's from Amir Adnan in khi. I really like their sherwanis. My husband's was maroon, he specifically said he wants a dark maroon sherwani and not the usual beige or black.

i heard buntos also making sherwanis for men.
but i dont think its gonna be made in time when i go...so i have no clue where to get it from....its hard getting anythign for guys their so complicated. I hate it around eid or anniversaries or even his birthday i never know wht to get my fiance.

Maroon is a lovely color esp with South Asian coloring. But I don't like it when guys wear pink sherwanis to match the bride's dress. If you want to wear pink or red brides please don't think that the groom's clothes have to match perfectly with yours. Light blue is good too on grooms .Although iIdon't much like Indian styles for brides, I love their groomswear, very mughal style and old world.

i recently saw a ferozi colored sherwani in an outlet ...ughhh it was looking i cant express my feelings
^omg i saw the most gorgeous light blue achkan at amir adnan. it was on a model and they had a huge picture on their wall and i was sooooo gonna place the order for that until i saw it in real life, in my hands and made one of my guy friends wear it and was like whoa!! that is hideous and it was cuz of the color. and then i realized it was the model who was like whoa!! haha in the end i got the same one made for my husband but in dark maroon. btw it was an achkan, not a sherwani. they are both different in case people wanted to know.
achkan is more fitted at the top and flares out at the waist whereas a sherwani just has straight stitching, top to bottom.

I think groom should get some grooming too b4 wedding day so that they look equally handsome as the bride .....or else usually brides overshadow the grooms

I like the simple, elegant look with just a touch of kaam. Not when its totally covered in kaam and looks so tacky and hideous yuck!

I have seen those on sale at Devon Avenue (Chicago), placed in the display window with a matching pink bridal lehnga, no less! laughed my guts out!!
