Maroon is a lovely color esp with South Asian coloring. But I don't like it when guys wear pink sherwanis to match the bride's dress. If you want to wear pink or red brides please don't think that the groom's clothes have to match perfectly with yours. Light blue is good too on grooms .Although iIdon't much like Indian styles for brides, I love their groomswear, very mughal style and old world.
I"ve never seen a guy wear a pink sherwani!!! Maybe, to match, he'll have a pink pagree or something..but not a pink kurta/suit.
