men's wear .... help plz

Salam sisters !!

i am new to this forum … found this really helpful

Actually my sister & brother are getting married together by the end of April, this year.
Till now we haven’t decide whether functions of both will be on same day or it would be separate,It might be 5 functions if wedding ceremony will be together otherwise 10 days.

Now the problem is our family is living in Muscat and I really don’t have any idea what are the latest trends in Pakistan. All of my cousins are useless

I am really worried about everything… i know boys don’t have much options as compared to girls … still need your help, what to wear on different functions

For 5 days function some of my ideas are below (Colors will not be the same as in pics):

  1. For Mayoo & Mehndi

  2. For brother’s barat

  3. For sister’s barat & brother’s Walima (without this sehra … lolx)

  4. For sister’s Walima

What else can I do … I am 23 years old and need everything fresh and elegant … any suggestions will be highly appreciated

Thanks in Advance

Re: men's wear .... help plz

All the weddings I attend the men wear shalwar kameez; and then wear suits for the walima only. I like your choices but I think you'd need to wear something more formal for your sister's walima. I think Masakali's choice's are very plain for a wedding and that waistcoat over shalwar kameez will make you look really old. You could always try a waistcoat with a suit, with or without the jacket. Another style I like when it comes to shalwar kameez is what Imran Khan wore to his wedding, but I can't remember what they're called right now.

Thanx MasaKali … I like that idea too

Rock Star Rani … as you know there is too much pressure during whole wedding , and I find Walima lil free of tension day , that’s why I choose not to wear any formal wear , anyhow Blazer is adding Formal touch :)… Regarding Imran Khan’s Shalwar Kameez, I think your talking about this pic …

Dhotii … lolx Great idea :stuck_out_tongue:
