i have a 'special occasions' outing closet.. where i hang my 3 dinner suites and 2 kurta-shalwar suites.. (i'm not much of a dressing-neat guy)
then i have the general closet.. that has all the tshirts, tanktops, underwear, gym pants (pajamas) and hoodies..
i keep all shoes outside room.. since entire house is carpetted.. we have a shoe-holder.. i have 2 pairs of running shoes 2 pairs of dress shoes and 1pair of walking sandles..
2 Pairs Jeans
4 Pairs Khakis
2 Pairs Cargo Pants
3 Suits
1 Blazer
1 Sherwani
1 Tux
6-8 Casual shirts like dockers
4-6 Dress shirts
A boat load of ties (I have a think for ties)
Ilated, u can add several dress shirts in a variety of colors and patterns (blue stripes, white with black stripes, solid red, and pink for the manliest of men are a few of my favorites ). I think dress shirts are very versatile, you can wear them buttoned up with a tie and slacks for a polished, professional look, or wear a teeshirt underneath and jeans for a casual look. Black pinstripe suits are always in style, very classic and khaki is a great “summertime” color. One look I adore is a striped button down shirt with a solid-colored thin wool sweater over, and jeans with either dress shoes or Diesels.. This look is also nice with slacks and a tie
If you work out, you should have one pair of sneakers just for that (not to mention socks, shorts, tees, etc). It’d also be good to have 1 or two pairs of “fashion” sneakers.. Pumas n Diesels are very comfortalbe, not to mention stylish.. I just wouldn’t recommend them for jogging. Polo shirts, teeshirts, tank tops paired with cargo shorts or gym pants are several choices if you want to lounge around the house or run mundane errands in style
Kurtas seem a bit tricky to me. I guess you can try those with jeans, but I woud just make sure htey dont have too much embroidery on em, else it’ll look too feminine
u need one pair of nike shox bomber, one kswiss. Three or four pairs of jeans , as many white , black and blue shirts that u can find.... and one black jacket.
