I’ve seen a lot of guys wearing them in pictures lately. Are they the latest trend? How much do they usually cost for something nice to wear for an engagement/nikkah and where can you buy them (I’m based in the US, but have contacts in DHA Lahore so specific shops/stores will be helpful).
Are these JJ coats and prices typical or is this considered higher end?
Any leads/help will be appreciated!

yes, they are in for more than a year... it costs 1200 to 12000...
DHA Lahore?? Lahore hi to fashion ka garh hai... why dont you try Edenrobe? select from there and buy it...

I am surprised to see the price tags lol. Definitely JJ stores are overcharging. The price should not be more than 8k even for high end branded waist coats. I bought 2 waist coats 6 months ago from an edenrobe store.. Their prices are considerably lower as compared to other brands . There are many places in Lahore you can shop from but i always prefer Cream block near moon market Iqbal town. They offer good quality with low price.

wow, thats quite a price range! I'm located in the US, but hoping I can ask my MIL to buy from Lahore. She is in DHA...any recommendations close to there? I don't want to send her all over town looking :)

I don’t know of any online websites that sell them. The only one I came across was JJ and their prices seem high and I didn’t find the style/color I was looking for.

They are easily available in men's clothing stores, and they are also affordable depending on fabric and design. My brother bought a golden waistcoat for 5000 pkr in Pace mall, Lahore

We bought waistcoat for my brother-in-laws nikha. We went to a couple of desi stores in Mississauga and then finally ended up at JJ. We found waist coats from $40-150. JJ definitely had the best stuff and had a 20% off deal. We did not have time to order from pakistan nor were we sure what sizes would fit, waistcoats needs to tried on to see if they fit fine.
I think we ended up paying between 100-120 for them, but it was worth it.

In pakistan there is a brand Andre Emilio . They have reasonable prices for luxury prince suit & all other suits .
