There's one in anarkali, near choori bazar. another in liberty.
are u going to wear a shalwar under the kurta or jeans? is this for mehndi or the barat or the walima you're planning a kurta?
also in liberty, i can't quite remember the store's name, but there is another bridal wear shop...stuff for men and women. try that. oh, and khaddi. try that as well.
check HSY's website as well. he's got a couple of good designs.
ECS is Ehsaan Chapal Store...the store has branches in almost every major shopping venues like Liberty, DHA, Anarkali etc. You can find its shops in Rawalpindi and Faislabad as well.
Thanks everyone for your replies, they are indeed helpful
waisay has any of you tried Junaid Jamshed's Kurtaz? I've heard they are pretty good......... good enough to be worn on the day of barat? and walima?
and whats a khaddi?
and, btw, you must have used colognes as well on your weddings, but they dont stay that long, do they? after a while evryone stinks ( agar shaadi july/august main ho)......... ever happened to you?
I have feeling that my brother's wedding in august will be dreadful; temperatures are rising drastically even though its only april now....
yes, one can arrange for an air conditioned hall, but you have to stay out for some time tooo...
that i don't know where it is actually. umm ask someone i'm sure they know. u think MM alam road stuff is just name brand. i would rather see a tailored kurta. with that you can get it exactly the way you want. the perfect karhai and kaam on it. not too sure about darzis, since it's been a year since i was in lahore, but for karhai defintely go to main market, in that karhai wali gali, and liberty market, where the dupatta dyers are.
btw, where i khuddi, is it in liberty? and how are shops on MM alam road? I've heard they are pretty expensive.
waisay would you recomming a sila silaya kurta or a tailored kurta? and which tailor would you prefer?
Khaadi is on MM Alam road... and yes the stuff is a bit pricey but they have good things and I've seen some very nice colors there.
As for the sila silaya thing...if you find something nice already stitched then go for it otherwise you can get it stitched yourself by any tailor.
