I have already booked my Bridal MUA. But now I need to book a Mendhi MUA. I am not using the same person as they are quite expensive and I wont be really wearing that much make up on the Mendhi. I just want a flawless look, as I have some acne scars and perhaps a bit of eyeliner and blush. So basically I am looking for someone who can still do a professional job but not charge that much. Any ideas? I am based in South East UK.
hmmm why don't you just ask the same MUA thats doing the bridal >? I booked my MUA for 3 days - mehndi, nikaah, and reception and she gave me a really good deal. I knew that the makeup styles would be consistent and she gave me totally different looks for all 3 days. Simple coverup for the mehndi so you don't look shiny, classic old style look for the nikaah, and a sort of glamour/evening look for the reception.
i've never heard of anyone use a MUA for the mehndi...all my friends and myself included did our own mehndi makeup, since we went for the "natural, flawless" look- concealer, eyeliner, lip gloss and light blush.
again, its a personal preference and depends on your budget :).
why don't you ask your bridal MUA for a package deal? OR you could always go the makeup counters at the mall and have their artist cover up your scars, etc.
