Can anyone recommend any nice mendhi venue in slough or windsor and a wedding venue anywhere in Berkshire. After an elegant and nice place for the wedding, leaning towards one of the hotels near heathrow for convenience but would love a country house etc.
For the mendhi, want something local for around 50-60 people.

It all depends on your budget to be honest and the caterer that you decide. What I have noticed is that it's better to choose your caterer first and then choose a venue from their list. Caterers like Sapna have a huge list to choose from. Country Houses tend to have marquees put up as their own function rooms are not large enough for asian weddings. Again this depends on your guest list. Beaumont House in Old Windsor is nice but their function room is quite contemporary. Hedsor House is nice in Taplow, Wokefield Park in Reading is also a lovely venue. Oh and Pinewood studios have weddings at their manor house which again is lovely.
In terms of nice mehndi venues Copthorne Hotel in Slough do good deals on their hire charge, Burnham Beeches Hotel is also nice. If you're looking for something cheap then Stoke Poges Village Centre is decent compared to all of the village halls in the area.

I went to a conference at Beaumont Estate in Old Windsor last week, great location and they do weddings at the venue as well.

Shehnai in Reading would probably be a good place for a mehndi, one of my fiance’s cousin’s are doing it there, and it’s made for asians. Shehnai
I went to a walima in Binfield, it was a small one in comparison to normal asian ones, but it is so scenic outside it was beautiful. Blue Mountain Golf & Conference Centre
