Men

Do men really take after their father? Is it fair to say that? Or is it as variable as anything else?

Re: Men

Does a cat always land on it's feet? Go Figure

Re: Men

not sure if it's the case with all men but i've seen real world examples where the bad qualities of the father do get "inherited" by the son..........like if the father was abusive to his wife the son is definitely a front runner when it comes to taking after daddy ji

Re: Men

Variable. Everybody picks up characteristics of their parents. But not everything. As an example. My dad is tight with money. I am not etc etc.

Re: Men

This is what you think right? :D

Re: Men

variable.

if you see a father has 3 sons......they will be different......

Re: Men

Its entirely dependant on the life the child has, many a poor father ends up with sons who go on to become rich and well to do, while many rich men have lost thier fortunes and sometimes even name, thanks to wayward young sons.

So many factors effect a child growing up, from the way he is brought up and the values he is taught... to the sort of things he has to cope with along the way.

Naturally a son can sometimes inherit a fathers looks and strength, he might also inherit his fathers tempermant but he certainly cant inherit his fathers experience... and some sons can even take after thier mothers and end up being more gentle and totally different to the way thier father might behave.

I am one of several siblings and not one of us shares the same style or proffesion nor do we have the same outlook in life, though we all inherited some of our parents charecteristics I've always been the wild one.

Re: Men

No. It is variable. Cannot generalize.

However, sons may try to be different from their fathers, but unconsciously they may have lot in common with their fathers.

Re: Men

what others said but they wud always look up to their daddy

Re: Men

Some do some don't, me I'm just like my dad in terms of how I look and behavior etc..

My brother on the other hand is a spitting image of my maternal grandfather, in terms of behavior he reminds me a lot of my mums side of the family.

My sisters sons, one of them is just like me both looks wise and the way he acts, I see so much of myself in him .

Re: Men

In my particular case, negative. My dad was good in convincing a Hijaban/Dupattan to marry him. The story is a whole lot different in my case since they avoid me like the plague.

But I won’t give up just like dad wouldn’t ever

End answer: Variable indeed.

Re: Men

my brothers have picked up the bad from my father and the good form my mother.

Re: Men

This and xtron likes to add that he disagrees when some people said sons become like their father. Me and my brother are different from my dad for sure. In every otha way ya know. But my olda sister has caught to some habit of my father.
Xtron has few examples but he wouldn't like to say in public.
