A worrying new development in the US (and similar incidents have happened in the UK).
In the short-term this could lead to burqa/niqab wearing women being banned from banks / jewellers and other locations with money or expensive items. Already in the UK you aren’t allowed to enter banks while wearing a motorcycle helmet.
In the long term, this could start a hysteria leading to an anti-burqa campaign.

I think we have come to a place where your face is your identity. Keeping myself identified keeps everyone around me safe and secure and Vice Versa. I dont think that there will be anything unIslmaic, if our ladies are required to keep the face uncovered, even in Muslim countries.

I agree with the statement of the Imam that “It is in actuality a type of hate crime against Muslims.” The crime like temecula bank robbers wear scream masks, wont get that much popularity that against wearing muslim dress codes will gain. Its like spreading hartress about muslim and religion of Islam. Neverthless in some comic cartoons, they presented muslim arabs as a foe.

I don't think its a hate campaign against muslims being carried out by criminals. They are just criminals who are using whatever easy way they can to carry out their crimes.
