Plus , if gender had played so much of role then we would not have required so many “jhoolay” (baby cot /crib) all over Pakistan which encourage parents to leave their children/newborns in that crib instead of killing them.

Agreed with all you said diamond. I didnt get what the above means…babies are not allowed or discouraged from sleeping with their parents?
