Looking to buy shoes and do not want to spend more than $150.
Does anyone have any suggestion where I can find nice men’s shoes and what is the current most popular style.
Can't go wrong with some brogues or Air Jordans..

Looking for dress shoes? I'm sure u can find it within 150$ easily
Look for Allen Edmonds on sale, or if you want to blend style and comfort look at Cole Haan Air series which has all styles eg Oxfords, bluchers, wingtips, brogues, loafers.
Johnston and Murphy has good shoes also and on sale you can pick up some real bargains.
You can get lucky at DSW that often has Cole Haans. Or look at Zappps or it's own brand site.
Style and broader use wise I would suggest getting monk straps or wing tips that are not full brogues. They are more dressy and versatile.

Why not havaaai Chappal?
Gets feet cool in summer days. Easy to wear and easy to take off.
Seriously speaking:
1- There are no real popular styles.
2- Whatever kind you wear should not look tacky or completely outrageous.
3- Men shoes need to be subtle. Not flashy. Unless they are gay. :diwana:
4- There are a lot of brands and one cannot really say which brand is good since there is no way telling what choice in terms of design the person may need or like.
5- I just bought two different brands shoes. Both look great. Both comfortable and both got complements from women who saw them.
6- This means, one has to go to any good store and try different styles or different brands if the store carries different brands and then decide.
7- One specific style may not work for you so why ask random people?
8- Always try BOTH shoes since feet may be different (left versus right) and walk more than 5 minutes before deciding. Even if this annoys the heck out of the salesperson.
This is about your body part, not like buying a phone or computer.
P.S. I wanted to try the smiley also.

I am sure they will be happy with anything they get. But is it a good idea to buy shoes as gift ? What if they don't fit well ? Shoes fitting right is a real problem.

I know the shoe size so hopefully it would fit right.
I know every shoe fits differently even in the same size but in the end I wouldn't mind if he exchanged it because of the fit.

It can be a difficult task.
Shoes are very personal and not the same as shirts, pants, jewelry. Even same size with different shape can be a source of discomfort. Men shoes are not really a gift item if one thinks about it.
Anyhow;
If you must then buy the shoes with the size known and hope for the best. The person may have to go and exchange it if provided with gift receipt. Your limit of money is not that bad. A fairly decent pair of shoe can be bought from any good quality store.
In the end: its the thought which counts.

For $150, you'll be able to get them something very nice.
If you're from North America - check out Hautelook.com, they have free shipping for orders over $100, plus you can get some really good designer shoes for a cheaper price. :) MyHabit.com is also a similar website that sells designer men's shoes as well.
If you buy in-store, then just get a gift receipt from the cashier when you checkout. That way if he doesn't like the shoes, he can always exchange them for something else. :)

Finding a shoe for men are sometimes hard. You will also need to know which style is the best for men and which is trendy. My DH loves wearing casual shoes like rubber shoes, sport shoes, top sider and sneakers. You can never go wrong with sport shoes, try to visit some store like Nike, Adidas, Asic, Sperry and other stores.
