Men-nizers

Everyone has heard of womenizers but what about those weird desi girls who like to stare at you till death. This is very common in college among very FOBs, who stare at you like they want to eat you alive. Most of them happened to be very obnoxious and talk in their native tongue very loudly in public places.

Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Men-nizers

Man, you must be really handsome and muscular. I never get second looks. It must be from all the work-outs you have been doing.

Simple Solution: Stop going to the gym.

Re: Men-nizers

Yes i’ve heard of them, and seen it happen with my own eyes…however, i don’t think it’s a “fob” thing only…just goes to show, all this checking out/flirting/wotver u wana call it, isn’t gender based…u’ll find womenisers and “men-nisers” both.

Re: Men-nizers

I check out men ALL the time, no-one is yet to know it :p

I can understand you having problems with someone being loud, but whats wrong with speaking in your native tongue?

Re: Men-nizers

^ Some ppl get offended when u talk in a different language in front of them (u not knowing that language)...in this case, i guess they were staring directly at him, therefore it was obvious that they were talking about him...maybe he thought it was rude...but on the other hand, the "fobby" girls probably felt more comfy talkin in their native language.

Re: Men-nizers

Isn’t he desi himself? or does he not know the language?

Fobby girls :hehe: no offense to you, but really this is pathetic, they’re judged on how well they speak English and whether they dress westernized or not? Someone who values their culture and their background? Whats wrong with being different? Who are we to decide how they should live their lives and carry themselves?

Maybe he doesn’t understand that much urdu/punjabi then

Nothing wrong with being different…i agree we shudn’t judge fobby ppl, esp. not of the way they dress or speak…i think it just bothers him that girls (in general perhaps) seem to stare and then gossip about him…maybe in his experience it’s been mostly desi girls

Re: Men-nizers

there is more than urdu/panjabi in pakistan…ever heard of balochi, pashto or sindhi:D

Re: Men-nizers

There is nothing wrong with talking in your native language, as long as you talk in a proper voice level, but talking very loudly in Jaahil andaaz is shameful for all desis.
This is very common among South Indian/Gujratis, not so common in Pakistani FOBs who still have little self-respect.

Re: Men-nizers

Umair it is time now for GS to present you with Stud muffin award of the year we just need to see you for ourselves and make sure u deserve the award otherwise Dope himself is quite a cutie and modest at that too, a strong contestant i'd say.

Umair u must be really out of thsi world, studly, drop dead gorgeous kind of a hunk or then there is something terribly wrong with you otherwise girls are usually discreet when they check out guys. U have to be one extreme or the other.

Re: Men-nizers

Can I stare at dope? First catty drooled over him and now the ever so pickey Miss FF is singing praise. Dope, show me yourself...I promise I won't speak loudly in my native language...just a couple of punjabi gaalees.

Re: Men-nizers

me? pickey? never :snooty: didnt i praise u too? :stuck_out_tongue:

Re: Men-nizers

This post is not about me, I wanted to know if these FOBs existed in other places as well, and wanted people to share their experiences here.

Re: Men-nizers

And that’s why i called you pickey. It took u a while to praise me.

Re: Men-nizers

what kinda HELP do u need?
hehe desis generally like to stare…
girls in my school…(the group that would show up in shalwar kameez everyday and stand outside the school all day—i called it the immigration line) loved to stare at other desi gurls/boys..
hehe there was a ‘french’ paki girl who showed up in shalwar kameez and smoked outside all day with three other guys…we all called her ‘french’ because she had facial hair around her lips that resembled a french beard:fraudia: :hehe:
anyways so she would stare at me and some other guys like she was ready to eat us and NEVER say hi or anything…and pretend to look away when we got closer hehe …

Re: Men-nizers

Ok im going to make ur day FG… that was cos u didn;t really need to be told

Re: Men-nizers

I think perhaps it’s a cultural thing and it isn’t just limited to men being stared at … girls get ogled by Pakistani females too … and it isn’t just girls who stare, guys do as well … it’s just a Pakistani thing to do. It’s such a rude habit to stare.

Funny thing is, everytime I look back at them or even stare/glare back at them, they still don’t look away. They just continue staring. Tsk.

Re: Men-nizers

They just wanna be friends Mehnaz
The best way to deal with it is, works for me at least, never give them a single look back, pretend as if they don’t exist. :k: It pisses them off and they won’t bother staring at you anymore.

Re: Men-nizers

Is Dopey showing his pics to the eligible bachelerottes on GS? I want to see too even though I don’t fall in the category anymore :bummer:

Re: Men-nizers

I have become so besharam in my old age that I openly check out guys (as long as they’re not looking my way). I size em up well n good … n there are so many fit desi guys at my gym :halo:
